When former Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella left Activision a number of lawsuits were thrown around from both parties. West and Zampella claimed that Activision's alleged wrongful termination cost the duo more than $125 million in royalties. Activision presented a countersuit accusing them of being "self-serving schemers who attempted to hijack Activision's assets for their own personal gain." According to The Hollywood Reporter, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge has ruled that the Infinity Ward co-founders have sufficient claims and the lawsuit may be taken to court.A settlement is still possible, however if neither party is willing to step down a trial could be forthcoming.
